Volunteer Information

Below you will find links to information relevant to our volunteer programs here at St. John. Included are some handouts that were used during various workshops. You will also find a list of contact persons for some of the ministries as well as a link to the Catherine of Siena Institute which authored the Catholic Spiritual Gifts Inventory that we use to help parishioners discern where they can best serve others. Visit their web site for more information about the spiritual gifts for ministry and other workshops that will be offered in the area.

We firmly believe that the most fruitful and fulfilling volunteer ministry flows from ones God-given gifts for service. We also believe that for all the needs of the parish there are parishioners gifted to meet those needs. There is no baptized Christian who does not have some gift for building up the Christian community. Gifts for service are given at baptism and Confirmation.

If you would like to investigate what your gift(s) may be,please look at the Ministries Directory and  call 206-782-2810 or email epinkerman@stjohnsea.org.
