Finance Council  

Finance Council

The Finance Council is a consultative body that provides the pastor and Pastoral Council with advice concerning the stewardship of parish fiscal resources. They develop and oversee a parish budget process, provide financial analysis and recommend appropriate contingencies to the pastoral council. The Council prepares and approves annual financial reports to the parish, conducts long range financial planning as to the operational and capital needs of the parish. They oversee the funding of reserve accounts. They also establish and review parish accounting system and policies and assure that adequate controls are in place and internal audits are conducted regularly.    The Finance Council meets on the 4th Thursday of the month.  Chairperson is Ellen Petre, she can be reached through email at EIBP@aol.com .
