SOCIAL JUSTICE COMMIttee

As a fire is meant for burning with a bright and warming flame,
So the Church is meant for mission, giving glory to God’s name.
As we witness to the gospel, we would build a bridge of care,
Joining hands across the nations, finding neighbors everywhere.

The purpose of the Social Justice Commission is to be the hands of Christ here on earth.
It is an umbrella organization that oversees and supports social justice groups in the parish and inspires new groups to develop.

• It maintains a link on the parish website and weekly bulletins with local volunteer opportunities and special events.
• It takes ideas from parishioners and ignites them into action.
